We’re excited to announce the launch of ASSAMBA’s new website, developed by AgritechMoz — a significant milestone in promoting sustainable development, community empowerment, and environmental innovation through bamboo.
You can visit the platform here: assamba.com
Why ASSAMBA?
ASSAMBA (Associação dos Amigos do Bambu) is an initiative designed to harness the power of bamboo as a tool for ecological regeneration, socioeconomic growth, and climate resilience in Mozambique and beyond.
Bamboo is uniquely promising — fast-growing, carbon-sequestering, and versatile — and has potential applications in housing, land restoration, charcoal/biochar production, education, research, and more.
The new website helps ASSAMBA tell its story, show its work, and invite participation from stakeholders, funders, researchers, and local communities.
Built by AgritechMoz — Bridging Tech & Agritech
AgritechMoz is proud to have designed and delivered the ASSAMBA site, aligning digital infrastructure with ecological mission. The site features:
-
A clear, mission-driven homepage (“Building a Sustainable Future with Bamboo”)
-
A well-structured “Initiatives” section, covering education, training, research, and projects
-
Stories of impact: metrics on grants, land rehabilitated, participants trained
-
A partner network section showing organizational alliances (PACJA, DAAD, Merz Foundation, etc.)
-
Contact, donation, FAQ, and gallery modules to drive engagement
By fusing clean design, intuitive navigation, and mission-aligned content, AgritechMoz has given ASSAMBA a digital home that can scale and evolve.
